I have been watching the XPLORE vehicle builds for the National ParkFoundation and they are using some black method wheels that look kind of cool too.

I think this wheel would look great on your white 100.

After researching to see if the XD Addict wheels will even fit, I found that the 17x9 wheels do not have the right bolt pattern. I really don't want to go to the 18" wheel. Especially at $212 a wheel plus tires. Really there are very few options for 16" and 17" wheels, especially ones that are half decent looking.

ok

i've been watching this thread and the 18s down to 16s thread too.

and nates buildup thread...fek amazing car!!

so i still have the factory 16" steelies and 3 spares. I sold five spares to Roachie on lcool.org. Thanks Bill if you are reading this!

i love Nates build. But having read the 18 to 16 thread....i'm now "educated" i think.

i was considering these

Pro Comp - Australia - Series 7047

they are 18x9. I got a quote for a Mickey Thompson tyre for that rim...305x70 ...and it was $600+......fek!!!

i am currently running 265x75x16 KM2s and they are great, except for the 265 part.

i am keen on an alloy as the steelies weigh an absolute ton! but...do i do a forged alloy? Are they avaialble ?? (i know there's a 20" Tundra forged alloy, but it's not what i want! and they are a $5k ish option)

so advice from you guys is welcomed....i do a lot of logging tracks, there is mud there...i've had to winch out twice when i was wheeling by myself...so mud,
a lot of sand based tracks....and of course highway. Ratio? 70% road, 30% offroad. But i want the KM2 style of tyres or the Nitto Grapplers i saw on here too.

Anyone that knows of a Nitto dealer in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, especially eastern suburbs, please contact me peter.moore350@gmail.com yes woody i'll get the silver star happening soon.

cheers
peter
