What I have:
(x4) 33x12.5/15 BFG M/T's on black 15x8 alloys
(x1) 31x10.5/15 A/T (never used) spare on the same style wheel in silver
The M/T's have about 50% tread remaining and have their share of trail scars. Never any punctures, though one leaks about 1 psi per day. Last time I had this problem, cleaning and resetting the bead fixed the problem, so I suspect that may be what it needs. or maybe a stem? They could probably use a balance as well. I sanded a painted the wheel semi-flat black in July this year. I think the back spacing is 3.75" but don't know for sure. The spare has never been used, both the tire and wheel are mint.
Since the rebuild, my cruiser is now less of a hardcore off-roader and more of a DD/weekend wheeler, so I want something narrower, and maybe less aggressive. Ideally, i'd like:
255/75-r16 (or comparable) MT's or AT's on 16x7 or 16x8 wheels with 3.5" max backspacing.
But I'll consider any 33" tires no wider than 10.5", on 15" or 16"wheels no wider than 8" with a max 3.5" backspacing. I am located in southern VT.
