I totally agree. I have to admit, though, when it was time to do my suspension, I called your shop, told your guys what I had, what I was after, ordered the bits per their recommendation, and am very happy !! I knew your shop had done more of these than I could begin to test drive, had dealt with lots of customers too, and I trusted your shop's opinion and insight, just as always. Trying to sort this out on one's own without all that experience is just guessing.
 
I am pretty sure others are wrong. I have OME 866 coils with N100/N101 shocks, and it is best setup. I added iron man torsion bars ans MAF 30mm spacers as well.

A couple of people here recommended the OME 865's with factory shocks and factory torsion bar. Can the factory shocks take the 865's travel and articulation? also can I use 15mm spacers in the rear with this set up?
 
I have 865's with 10 mm spacers and stock shocks, i have only been on the streets but it works fine, i have bilsteins waiting in the garage - just not looking forward to taking the old rusty ones off

What size tires are you running? Do you have your torsion bars cranked also? What about your stock shocks, are they long enough? I'm wanting around a 1 inch lift but am torn because I don't wheel very much and mostly drive my 100 on the road towing my boat. Would just going to 285's be enough lift?

Anybody got a picture with 285's no lift?
