So I bought my gx from a buy here pay here lot so I knew it's history is dubious. I just pulled the wheels off to do the brakes and found what appears to be spacers. The nuts are nice and clean as if they are new. I watched 3 gx brake videos and no one had this . Looks like they are on the front as well. My rims look oem but I don't know. Why would these be on here? Can I just unscrew them and put them back on? I've never ran into this and don't want to mess anything up.

Maybe it had some big 23" rims on it and the lot threw a set of rims they had on it and used the spacer to make them fit? Weird. Def a new addition.

Well I'm a dummy it has the info printed on it.

Rims say 18 x7.5 and j dot. Not sure the offset

Yeah just a spacer. I used a 1” spacer with my OEM wheels for a bit because it filled the fender a little better.

Those look like the early GX stock wheels so I would expect 0 offset but that 25 might be the offset too. My 2014 had 0 offset from the factory.

Thanks, I'm trying to do my brakes today, pulled off the rotor and found a crazy mess on the passenger rear seal. Looks like someone went crazy with a hammer and an angle grinder. Everything covered in grease.

Then looks like amazon sent me the wrong rotors. Lol. What the hell.

I think I'm gonna let the shop deal with the back seal leaking who knows what they did to this thing. Here is a Pic AFTER I cleaned all the grease off everything with brake cleaner

Might just be the angle of the picture, but it doesn’t look like the nuts are fully engaged on the studs…I see what looks like a lot of thread showing inside the nut.
I’d be inclined to remove those spacers…before they remove themselves 😳

Yeah I don't like the idea of spacers if I don't need them. They are seated pretty good buy does look like the stud could be a little longer

The OEM studs on the 460 are not that long. I ran 1.25" spacers on all 4 corners for about 2 years to help keep the 275/70R18 Toyo MT's from scrubbing. The thread engagement in your pic looks like what I had. Use red thread locker and torque them to 90 ft/lbs and you'll be fine.

That sport badging and now spacers. PO def had some rubberband tires.

Yes, wheel spacers and to me that thread engagement is sketchy. A lot of wheel spacers will require different lugs for that very reason.
