Hi gents,
Trying to figure out why my cruiser with its newly rebuilt engine is stumbling. Im using stock PS reservoir and gearbox etc. I have a leak and know it needs replaced at some point but, ya know ..... $$$...
Perhaps a dumb question,
Can a faulty power steering cause a poorly running engine? but my engine RPM does drop when I turn the steering wheel. And, My pulley felt rather still when I spun it by hand, like had to use at least a half my strength hand to get it to move without the belt on. Could this just need to be lubricatd or something, or did I install the pulley on the reservoir wrong if its this tight? Just don't know enough about engines to know if something like this could really affect a loss of power form the engine.
I'm getting bad MPGs and stumbling, I think the stumble is partially carb related but figured I'd rule out this as a possibility.
