I used a SoCal piggy for the bottom of my resto and a northern piggy (North Dakota) for the top. It seems to me that the southern piggys rust faster up top and the northern piggys rust faster down low.

I've got one from an early 70's in Helena, maybe 71,72 or 73 can't remember, cut off aprox half way up the pillars

I too ended up buying 2-55's and splicing... taking the top of one and the bottom of another. I would'nt say im HARDCORE but probably the most painfull mod i've made to a Cruiser
