Well, it took several years and many Coors lights to achieve full oh s*** handle failure.

I'm fairly anal (no jokes, LCP, Rudster, Murf, ST) about getting in and out of vehicles to prevent wear on the side bottom and upper seat bolsters. When I had the new leather installed last Nov. the shop had to re-weld and enforce the metal sub frame of the DS seat due to the prior owner getting in and out. Most folks just pivot and slide. I like putting my leg out on the step sliders and lifting my butt up off the seat. (Wife and kids are slowly getting trained, but they bitch)

The handles, while seemiing solid, used the plastic covering to locate them left to right. That broke about a year ago, then it was just a matter of time that the small movement/flex caused the metal to fatigue. Just lucky I didn't land on my butt on the ground.

If you have an extra one that would be awesome!

Crudz, if you don't have one I do. I will bring it anyway, just in case...
