It's the piece on the door not the frame, has a little spindle which turns to latch. Mine is toast and am about to the point of having to bungie the door closed.
 
Can't help you with a part, but..........

Is it toast because the "keeper ring" (for lack of a better term) is warbled out, allowing the spindle to slop around? If so, and you've got the skill/tools it can be fixed. I fixed mine a few years ago by welding a fender washer on the face.

Yeah I dont dare lean on my door. It's always opening with any lean on it. But it did get me wearing my seat belts all the time - well most of the time. :)

Show us what worked.

YES! but I haven't welded since shop class in 8th grade. And don't have the stuff to do what you are saying... thanks for the tip all the same, I am sure some folks would like to see what your finished mod looks like if you get the time.
