So i never found the answer i was after. How are the belts supposed to work if you remove the hardtop???

thats what i was figuring. You would think toyota would have made provisions for just this

If you need measurements or more pics than you have let me know, in case you're tempted to build a pair. Mine are not installed and won't be for some time yet.

Well I am still looking. Maybe you can send me some detailed pics and I can have my metal fab, CNC, waterjet guy give me an idea of whether he can recreate these? If so, maybe send the brackets on a short vacation to SoCal?

Steve actually has 1 bracket that he's saving for me but I thought I would have found a set by now.

Dom, here are the 5 pics I can upload including one of the plate behind the retractor. I have more if you want them or a specific measurement. PM me your e-mail if you want the rest. I'll stop by a outfit here and see if there is any chance they could reproduce them as well.

back from the dead. Any chance these were ever reproduced? OR anyone have a set? : )

I don’t have any plans to produce these but do have a set and could potentially help you with making a reproduction, depending on how exact you wanted them to be

That'd be cool. I did some thinking over the weekend and have an idea to make a similar functioning bracket. It'd probably be much cheaper than finding a good set of these or paying to have a set fab'd up. I'd be interested in hearing more though about reproducing a set, I'm not concerned with exactness
