Like the title says. 3 out of 4 rear wheel cylinders are fubared in my 66. In the market for anything that will get it fixed, from wheel cylinders all the way to complete rear axles (with working brakes;))

Located in SoCal

Thanks,
Donald

i have a bunch of used wheel cylinder cores........

wasabi on here has a complete rear axle in socal.

Good cores would probably get me going. I think that the rebuild kits are available local but I’ll double check that. I would need three complete wheel cylinders with pistons/adjusters as mine are stuck in the bores. I even tried to get one out in a hydraulic press. What would you want to get for them? It is at a friend’s house so I need to get it going ASAP. Can PayPal right away.

Not sure if they will fit your application, I have all the wheel cylinders off my 71, they were working fine when I took them off, Im going to rear disks..

post a pic of your cylinders so i can match them up. i have twenty or more laying around and i know of at least 5 different models....

I have all the wheel cylinders attached to the backing plates from a 73, cut off the plate for a disk brake conversion, 20$ and meet you in the middle,

may have some more 67 cylinders in storage
in Beaumont

I'll try to get a pic up as soon as I can.

I work in Beaumont so you may be my best hope. From what I've seen there was a change in 70 so I don't know if the 73's will work. If any one knows if I can adapt them that would help. Otherwise I'll get some pics of mine including how they mount and try to compare with what you've got.

Thanks for all the replies,
Donald

OK, no pics of my actual cylinders, but I found this info on Napa Online.

Up to and including 1970 used 1-inch bore rear wheel cylinders. 1971 up used 7/8 bore wheel cylinders. Externally from the pictures they look the same. They might even bolt up. I'm willing to give it a try for $20 since calstyl2 is so close by. Attached are pics of the 1-inch bore ones. They look just like mine.

OK, teach me to post when I'm tired. When I payed a little more attention I see that the threads on the two years are different. Old style 1-inch bore has M11x1.25 threads and new style 7/8 bore has M10x1 threads.

If anyone has at least 3 of the early wheel cylinders that is what I need.
