Hey guys, I am looking for parts in So-Cal to convert my 1964 FJ40 to Disc Brakes. Ideally I would like to find a complete axle with Discs already (either converted or '76 and newer that had them stock). In lieu of a complete axle I am also looking for the knuckle assembly to do the conversion on a 70-76 drum axle. If anyone in the So-Cal area is holding and willing to deal please let me know.

Classifieds section is where I found my knuckles, and spindles. Then I bought birfs from cruiser outfitters and a axle rebuild kit from Marlin.
You are definitely going the right way by looking for an axle first. I've really been getting nickle and dimed here towards the end with cone washers etc.

Wish I had known this earlier, might have saved me a trip to L.A. I now have most everything I need and I am part way through the conversion. However I do need some small parts like 10mm brake line T for the rear axle, the 90 deg fitting on passenger side under the firewall and I also need the flex brake lines from frame to axle front and rear. If you have any of these parts let's talk.
