Wanted WTB Centrifuge Oil Filter

Looking to buy a centrifuge oil filter from either a 1978 - 1980 HJ47 series diesel land cruiser, or the 1981-82 HJ60 series diesel landcruiser!

Happy to pay to ship it downunder,Can't seem to locate one anywhere in Oz - they were a standard fitting for the diesel lancruisers for those 4 years until a few folks complained out the noise they can make under the bonnet (oops - hood) and Toyota discontinued them.

Looking to plumb this one into my 1992 turbo diesel 80 series cruiser to help keep the oil squeakey clean! Greatest invention since sliced bread imho.

I'm too tight fisted to pay for the new Mann & Hummel centrifuge filters at between Aus $600 - $1300!

Thanks in advance if anyone has one on an old wreck they want to part out for me!

we had them on Scania motors back in the early 90's, not sure if one of those would work or be available in OZ

My friend has a BMW parts business and I noticed something similar on a few of the engines he has. Maybe you could check around for a bmw wrecking yard?

If not Im sure he could ship you one. I really dont know if its the same concept, but it appears to be. The housing is similar to what you pictured and it has a replaceable filter insert.
