Hey Guys, I'm looking for a BJ42 4 core HD radiator. The upper inlet hose can be on the left or right side and the lower hose must be on the left side. Please PM or email and let me know what you got! ocotillo_outfitting at h0tmail d0t c0m

Thanks,
Colby

I too looked for one a while back. There were a couple of aussie sources that wanted way too much for them (and then add shipping....)
So, I took an old stock unit into a local radiator shop. They took the old tanks and put them onto a 4-core, hence making a perfect replacement fit for my '81 bj42. They did a great job and the price was comparable to a brand new 3-core unit, though I cant recall the exact price. Medford Radiator located in Medford, OR. I would assume that most similar shops have the capability to do the same thing.

Hi Meyer, I have thought about going that direction but I'm 200 miles from the closest radiator shop....

I'll pull it out and snap a pic.

Here is what I have:

I confirmed the inlet and outlet with Sor before purchasing. The CSF box says #2888. The diagram on their site does show the outlet on the right but both inlet and outlet are on the left which I require because I am planning on installing factory power steering.

Wow! Glad you did that! In their diagrams it shows a different configuration. I will know what i need later this week and will compare notes with CSF. Good looking rad! I want one!

That's exactly what I need. I'll try calling CSF AGAIN on Monday. I would much rather purchase from them for under $300 than SOR for over $500!

I've looked at those. My main issue is if the rad ever needs to be repaired I'm pretty much SOL, I do have a tig welder but haven't mastered the art of welding aluminum especially considering it will most likely be contaminated. Also, I've heard horror stories of the aluminum rads cracking.
