I'm buying a BJ70 from Canada and am looking for a complete A/C set up. PM me if you have anything or any good direction to send me.

Thanks!
John

You can get the whole setup from Japan4x4 on this forum. I did.

Here's the part's list though, it's not cheap. I started out with a few bits from my BJ74 so it was easier to swallow.

PS, those prices are a few years old too.

Best bet is to find someone wrecking out a BJ74 up here in Canada, get the compressor, brackets, dryer, condenser, idler pulley, amplifier, VSV, clutch, harness, switch heater, and actuator used.

The only LHD specific part you need is the Evaporator Case, what Toyota calls the "unit Assembly, Cooler". It was around $1000 Cdn with shipping when I got it over a year ago.

I'm not trying to depress you...just give you the facts.

Craig.

It'll be a necessary evil as I'm making the 70 my daily driver. Heat is a bit too much in August in MA..

Did you install it yourself?? Was it difficult to do??

pm spallet. he can get them from central America. he has one in his now 14bt70. It's necessary here in Texas.

Arent you in New England? You really dont need AC up there. :)
