WTB: 60 or 62 in Phx, AZ

newbie here.
look forward to learning more about these solid rigs from y'all.
i just sold my Tundra and am looking to purchase a 60 or 62 series cruiser.
i'm in Phx, AZ so looking for a local deal.
the truck must be clean & well maintained as i need it to be a daily driver.

I have a super clean 1989 FJ62. It just needs and engine, transmission, transfer case and some seats. Great rig to do a V-8 in.

Check out Craigslist. There seem to be a ton of 62's and few 60's on there. One down the street started at $4700 and is now at $2700. I'm tempted myself. Good luck in the search.

what the hell....when i bought mine a little over a year ago you could not find one less than 4000...unless totally trashed and rusted out...pricks selling their rigs on the cheap, and devaluing mine

Not mine but there is a fj62 here in Tucson that the owner is asking $1800 for.

I have seen the truck before and it is clean and no rust anywhere.

The A/C does not work.

Let me know if you find anyone interested in an orange/black 1981 FJ60. I had her motor rebuilt about 7500 miles ago and reinstalled the stock carb. She's got a little lift and rhino coat on the lower half of the chassis. All the interior has been rhino-coated too, and the upholstery is black/tan sunbrella. I had her redone so I could hose out tacos, spilled soda and beer, sand...The paint is new and looks good, but there are a couple of places it's chipped off. I'll be back from Mexico next week. I'll give you a call then.
