230k on the rig. Rips in the bushings and the ball joints are leaking. Don’t really feel much in the suspension and it’s $1800 for the pair.

I would not pay $1800, but I would replace them after hunting for a better price. Check partsouq or a direct-to-consumer dealer parts counter. My local dealer has them for $340 per side and I suspect there are better deals out there if you look.

That is coming from the dealer. Funny though, I called my Indy and he was even higher at 1950. The parts are about $700 for OEM. So about a grand on labor. The bolts may be seized I haven’t looked at it as I just got the truck. But if they aren’t I don’t think it’s too bad of a job, but could be wrong.

I would definitely replace them as well. Just not at that price. I just did this on my rig. Scoured eBay and found each side low mile lightly used with good bushings and ball joints for $140 a corner. New for $250-350 range. Cutting off seized bolts is not bad either. 5-10 minutes for side. I replaced both sides myself which took about 3.5-4 hours.

Also....where is your cotter pin for that lower ball joint?! Did they start disassembly in that pic? If not it looks like that nut is backing off...get that sucker tightened up and new pin until you replace it.
