Apparently the truck sold last night for roughly $38k. Anyone looking to sell a low mileage LC or LX?
The truck sold already? Did you call them? I was going to check it out. I'm impressed it sold that quickly, apparently the price could've been higher yet.

yeah, I decided that I can have a lot more fun modifying my current vehicle than spending extra on a newer one.

I did call them. Sound like it sold within a day or two.

Yep, called them immediately. Sold within the first day or so, albeit at a slightly discounted rate.

there's a 2009 down the street with 48,000 miles for $48,000 (a square deal... sorry). Makes a 2006 with 35,000 miles for $40,000 seem, well... stupid.

It's all about where the truck lived its life. This truck for $40k lives in the rust belt, unless it was only driven in the summer I would rather have a 100 with 100k more miles and rust free. These rigs are just broke-in at 100 k miles.

Just saw two low mileage LXs that popped up at a Lexus dealer. One with ~44k miles, an '06, $35k. Another with ~67k miles, an '07, $36k. Crazy, but maybe not, I guess it depends on how one values what they want. One thing is for sure, the later model, lower mileage 100-series are really holding up in value.

The silver one with the 44k miles sold in 24 hours. Just missed it. This is crazy.

Damn. It really is crazy. This is the first vehicle I've owned DURING the tipping point - from depreciation to the appreciation (though the flat-line will last for a while). Four years ago, an '06 or '07 with 40,000-60,000 miles was in the mid $30k to $40k range. It seemed to have "tipped" in 2014. I wonder if the $1.97 fuel prices were the nudge it needed.
