Bueno suerte, Amigo. Tu eres chingar.

Con esta ventana tu puedes tiene mucho bandidos tambien.

LOL !

My work bench is two sets of kitchen cabinets screwed together back to back. the top is a 3/4"X4'X8' sheet of medium density fiber board glued to a sheet of 3/4" oriented strand board. There are caster underneath so it can be wheeled out of the way when not in use.

I never though to take pictures of just the bench, this the best I have.

In the back ground you can see some of the lateral file cabinets I salvage from a local business that went broke. I like them because I can hide all my greasy used Cruiser parts inside and still get at them easily. Much better than shelves IMHO since whatever I need is invariably on the back with a shelf.

I'll second the filing cabinet idea; I've got 4 of them that I found sitting by the dumpsters at a local business. They work great, got ball bearing slides and everything--actually seem built as well as most tool chests I've seen. I use them to store drills, grinders, fishing crap, etc. Keeps things nice and clean; had stuff on pegboard in the garage and everything constantly got covered in dust and dirt.

Did you have any Idea how that sounds ( read) in Spanish?

Keep the ideas comming I was thinking in something with metal top my idea its make something that really work with the little space that I have

i'm thinking shelves are great for storing things, especially if you have a fold down table on the lower 1 meter height. Then you can fold the plate/workbench down when you need the space. and it keeps the shelves from covering with dust and scrap. add another fold down at the next shelve above, and you got another sweet bench right above your first bench.

What are you planning to do in there? most for storage or also for working? then a big roll out table is great, with storage underneath, power outlets and wheels for moving.

mis Cruiser stuff .. welding, it should be strong enough to support a 3rd member and another thing that I want to put there is's a big vise

and have something like

I also like to keep the things well organized .. nuts, washers and bolts in those small drawers systems

Or just simple safe empty space to buy something like this one ..

Lo Siento, Jefe.

I should have been paying more attention to what my Spanish teacher was saying, but she was so hot, all I could do is look at her cuerpo.

That window is no good if it is open to the outside. The Tweekers will open it like a beer can and take your stuff.

no problem dude ..

there is no prob with that window .. coz it goes to the internal corridor in the house ..

The top on my bench is getting a little beat up. I originally built it for wood working, automotive work is a lot rougher. I plan to skin it with 18GA sheet metal.

Here's another thread on workbenchs...https://forum.ih8mud.com/workshop-home-improvement/404776-planning-my-work-bench.html

In my garage I have a craftsman workbench with drawers both sides and a particle board top with a sheet metal cover. I put some blocks of wood under the feet to raise the height up a few inches. This also allows me to store jacks and other stuff underneath. This works OK for most of the stuff I do, but I can't really weld on it because the heat burns the wood underneath. I do some light welding on top of another piece of aluminum diamond plate flipped upside down.

In a small space like you have, I think it is important to use as much as the space as possible, but also have flexibility. To me this means high density storage underneath (drawers, etc.) and possibly have the bench on wheels so you can move it where you want to when you need to.

that's a good idea too .. yesterday I finish the last layer of paint and asemble 2 shelfs that bought satuday .. one with 5 levels and the other one waiting to organize some stuff to see which it's the best setup to me ..

thanks for the link too ..

I would take pics of the advance and post here this comming weekend ..

At my old house I built a small but solid workbench, at the same height as a folding Workmate. I could put big things across the two for bigger projects, and fold up the Workmate table when not needed. It was a nice system, and was too small to accumulate a lot of clutter.
