DATE POSTPONED -- will coordinate with BOD and Ralph on new date.

It's been awhile (Oct 2013) since we've been to Ralph's and even longer since we've done a work day.

EDITED 6/01/15 FOR UPDATED SCHEDULE -

Bring your rig, garden tools and pack a lunch. We'll ride the trails later in the day (I assume) depending on the work load.

Ralph will be there and is going to rent a Wood chipper to have it on-site for this work day. We are to go in and clean up the forest line around the lake road and perhaps the race track. Have some guys cut tree limbs, clear ground debris etc, and feed the chipper all at the same time.

Tools needed:
Chain saw(s)
Work gloves,
Tree trimmers
Trash bags
Rakes
lots of Gatorade and cold beers

We usually show up around 9:00 AM at the pavilion and assemble an exact plan. For those who have never been we do not post the location but we'll be happy to either meet you at the Chick-Fil-A just south of Hwy 53 and 400 in Dawsonville or PM you the location so you can find your own way in if you;re running late.

I have a chainsaw, a rake or two and a couple shovels if needed. We'll need some trash bags and pruners I'm estimating right now.

We could really use a good showing from the club to show we're serious about helping
.

For any newcomers, there's no better chance to get involved than right now. Most of the GC members have cut their teeth on Ralph's property. It offers mild to moderate trails for stock+ trucks and is closer to home than any other wheeling locations around. There are a couple of more difficult trails that have served as a "graduation" for many but most everything has a by-pass if needed.

Please come on out and introduce yourselves.

PLEASE POST YOUR ATTENDANCE - WE NEED A GOOD CROWD!!!!

I plan on being there. Figure it would be a perfect spot for a shake down run, and if the rig falls apart I can still be productive. I'll throw in a variety of misc yard tools and trash bags.

I'll plan on it. shovel, chainsaw, gloves, and maybe a teenager :)

I plan on coming...

Miranda and Sam will more than likely come along too...

I might even have 2 trucks to wheel :hillbilly:

Hi guys,
I am going to miss this one as I have some other commitments

Hello folks,

I am interested in helping out and introducing myself and my son to the club. I drive a 2012 FJ Team Trails Edition, all stock. My 11 year old and I would be happy to help clear trails and cut wood for the day. I can bring a shovel, axe, hatchet, and some garden rakes. Feel free to pm me with any additional instructions or requirements.

Thanks!

excellent. Keep an eye open on this thread for updates, welcome aboard.

I'll edit the first post to reflect the the help to be provided. We haven't been there in awhile and Ralph has been very busy!!!
