Dang! Jim, I never seen this one! Is that woodgrain?!

Not woodgrain but it is a stock two-tone color. The inset is a coppery color over the beige. This the '85 with the 3FE, the red one is down with an ailing t-case. I was on my way to Lynch to pick up some gaskets to deal with the t-case this weekend.

Awesome! I shoulda followed then!

They did make some wood grain like an old Grand Wagoneer.

One was for sale on ebay in Wilmington a year or so ago.

At first I wasn't too keen on the color scheme but it's grown on me. This Cruiser needs a paint job but I'd like to keep the coppery inset because I don't think I've ever seen another like it. I'm not certain that the insets are painted, they may be overlays, and it may be something added at the dealership. I found this Cruiser in Union Springs around '93 and I think it had originally been from Panama City.

It's an '85 and body and interior still in good shape. Swapped in the 3FE many years ago, it's sitting on a BDS suspension, 33x105s on 8" wide wheels, but otherwise stock :grinpimp:. I could never sell it because it's cost me too much skin and blood over the years.

This is the "not woodgrain" pattern and color scheme. Base color is tan, or something like that, with the coppery graphic overlay. Thin stripes extend around the front of the hood.

Side note: The old style BFG mud tire was cut when I ran over a dull pine stump. I have been cautious about BFGs ever since, although I'm currently running them on two Cruisers.
