well, dammit, I threw everything into my truck and did a quick trip to Yosemite. But I forgot the damn temp sensor at home :bang:

There was a point that the stupid DC plug bounced out and worked its way loose (not difficult to do). The DC plug is a major pile of s***. The fridge was backing in the 105º sun in the Yosemite valley. Went to grab some icey cold water only to notice the water was cool, not cold. Sure enough, the fridge light was off. Dammit. Some carefully placed electric tape later and the DC plug never came back out again. Must get better solution. This is dumb.

When I had the fridge I unscrewed the end of the DC plug off and wired it directly to my fuse block which is hooked up to my secondary battery. Stick two spade terminals on it and you'll have a more permanent (temporary) solution. I never used the actual DC plug. It's total junk
