I am running Samsung 7 Edge and using the wireless charger in my LC 2017. It seem like the phone and the charging area got really hot, is this normal? Anyone else have this issue?

Meh, I'll take this over having to have a cord any day. It only happens on long drives and even then it's only once every 1-2 hours. You let it cool for 5 minutes and put it back in. Wireless charging causes a lot of heat, this isn't news.![]()
Some how the USB charge took a long time to complete the charge... not enough amps output I believe.Wow. Plain ol' USB plug-in starting to sound better and better...![]()
Ya, we iPhone folks don't know about things like wireless charging...removable memory...edge-to-edge screens...customizable software...
Apple needs to git wit it!
Thanks all.

I usec thr USB output that come with the LC.It might be the cig charger your using? I bought an overpriced one from T-Mobile when I was in a pinch out of state. It charges plenty fast. Not fast-charger speed but pretty good.
Old topic but I always thought it was the wireless charger that got the phone hot, but on a recent trip my passenger pointed out that the cubby itself is hot without a phone or the charger being turned on... all sides especially the top of the cubby get very hot, has anyone noticed this? Is it normal? (AC was running at 65-67)
Thanks for the feedback, I guess I need to figure out what could be causing heat in there...Definitely not the case with mine, that space is cabin temp when not in use. My iPhone 13 wont charge in there if it's still in its case though. I have to remove it from the Gear4 D30 case in order for it charge wirelessly and it does get hot when doing so.
