Wire/connector identification (1 Viewer)

Does anyone what the purpose of this connection is? Since owning vehicle, it has not plugged into anything. Not sure it's purpose, don't have any codes. Just curious.

Located on Driver side above oil pan. Connection above is o2 sensor for reference.
