Put the truck on the lift to give her some much needed love and found this loose plug? Any idea what is it for? It’s on the driver side.

Don't worry, no one have figured that out yet. I have in my 2000 and it is still there just like yours.

Rocket launcher option, which you didn't get. The good news is, you can plug in a aftermarket unit and be the baddest kid on your block.

Based on other threads and some digging in EWDs, it looks like this is a 90980-10532 connector (labeled O3 in EWD). This connects to an oil level sensor (89491-60060) used in 1HD-FTE, 1HZ, and 2UZ-FE engines in other markets to illuminate a low oil warning light in the dash.

The location and wire colors match too, I believe: blue (code L) and white w/black stripe (W-B).

Help I.D. mystery connector.....?

mystery plug....can you help identify it?

Oil light on. Everything is OK

Looks like 80-series may have same/similar sensor and warning light.

Funny you say is an engine oil level sensor. This thing has a nasty leak and that light has never came on.

The US 100-series models do not use that sensor or light.
