I checked in to ASFIR, but it does not appear that they make skid plates for the 80 Series… Slee does, though, out of steel, so I'll have a look in to them. I'll also check the Mud Forum to see what else folks like out there. I prefer Aluminum - I would have thought it would be less expensive than steel! Thanks for the advice, it is greatly appreciated!

I looked at Just Differentials, they stock the Detroit Lockers that David Benke uses. He likes it, but he says that his rear diff clicks when he makes turns. That sounds kind of annoying to me, I don't know if I could deal with that (depending on how loud it is). Maybe I should ride with him around town sometime…
 
also check BudBuilt in NC.....and also check with BumpItOffroad as another source...along with MetalTech who has a lot of 80series stuff and is a really good guy to boot.

Some places closer here such as Summit sometimes has them and can save shipping or can pick up yourself and have installed....there is one in Atlanta
