Ryan what what wire feed wheel sizes do you have? I'll pick up some wire and mixed gas for your welder. Thanks for letting us use it!! I am having Clint at Battlement Fabrication CNC some roof rack brackets for me as well as installing the rear tire carrier spindle into the bumper for me this weekend.

Matt, unfortunately I haven't been able to find the gas conversion kit since I moved. Hence the flux core only mode. I'm getting close to dropping the $100 again if I don't find it soon... :frown:

Well I stated that I wouldn't have any new additions to the FJ this holiday season but I lied. Looks like I will be adding a front bumper and skid plate this Winter. Paid for by StateFarm :o

Nice, I'm in the same boat. Looking at the AllPro front bumper with single hoop and Ricochet HD skids.

So this is what I have been up too.

Ryan, I bought Doug's Fj Roof Top Tent Baja Rack to use on the 4runner and now I'm not going to use it. Would you be interested or know someone interested? I paid 300.00 for it and that is all in asking for it. It is a 750.00 rack.

Yes, I would be interested.

Awesome, let me know when you want it. It is in GJ and I could get it to you during our wrench-a-thon.

Perfect! I'll see you there with cash and wrench in hand! Are there any wear/consumable parts like gaskets or seals that I will need to install at the wrench-a-thon?

Ryan, not that I know of. I'll look through the brackets and see, but Doug takes great care of his equipment so the rack is in great shape with little wear.

Ryan, you won't need to replace anything to mount the rack on the FJ. The big secret to getting a good seal when mounting a rack on the FJ is good prepping of the surfaces and a very liberal use of fresh silicone on the threads and surrounding area. I have done 2 racks on my FJ doing this and have had no leakage issue. I will be more than happy to help you with installing the rack on your FJ at the wrenchathon if you want.
