I wont lie 406 family! If this little guy was available back when i was stationed up there in Great Falls i would have done a whole lot more winter camping! Here in NM i found a home with a non vehicle specific offroading group of veterans who do wheeling all year round so figured i'd get into the game.... ya'da ya'da ya'da i decided to get this stupid experience diesel heater. Mostly because the FJ Cruiser has limited space and it doesn't require any additional power source to turn the burner on and run the fan. So far I'm liking it! So far at 3/4 heat setting it Pumps out about 195degrees at the outlet vent! I just need to buy an adapter i saw to pipe it up to the rtt!

Always good being able to stay warm, that thing looks sweet...... I found using sources of heat inside a vehicle where I'm sleeping just translated to more moisture and condensation inside the truck....Maybe since your up in a RTT it wouldn't be as much of an issue. The past few snow camping trips we've done I actually end up cracking the windows for ventilation and just bundling up in the right clothes + sleeping bag to deal with the temps.

One design feature i dont like is it uses the same intake air for both combustion and air circulation. Hopefully it wont create additional condensation.

It worked fantastically!! Granted it wasnt super cold, maybe mid to high 20's but on low i had to keep all of the Shiftpod Mini's port windows and vents open! I can only imagine just how hot it would be inside in single digits and below! And not having to carry an additional power source was $$$$ on space savings inside the FJ!

Great setup and bonus points for a sweet camp spot. Living in luxury now!
