windshield frame part numbers (again)

I have been searching Partsouq and the 70 series section for some definitive answers about the frame differences for folding windshield 70 series. I found this list in a thread from several months ago:

KZJ70L (soft-top) : 90K18
HZJ75LP (pickup) : 90K19
BJ73LV, HZJ73LV, KZJ73LV LX (hardtop) : 90K20
KZJ73LV VX (hardtop) : 90150


Is this the consensus? I have a 6/1990 HZJ73 FRP top that needs a new frame and glass. I was initially leaning towards the 90K19, as CruiserParts.net shows that this fits all models, but Partsouq shows that it's only a 75 series and not 73.

Since there is a used but very repairable looking 90k19 frame in the classifieds, can anyone tell my why or why not for using that and not the 90k20 on a 73 FRP top?

According to ToyoDiy, my correct part number should be 56301-60140 but this looks to be discontinued maybe?


TL,DR: will 90K19 fit an FRP top.

I would guess that the frp top windshield is different than the pickup ones due to probably different attachment ways.

from all the pics I could find on the internet of all the folding hardtop w/s frames, I have yet to see a difference. the fact that the fiberglass ones are made to fit all models and that cruiserparts lists just the one part number makes me think the 75 series would fit the 73. still not 100% though. I wish the fiberglass ones were available

Softtop version is different. It has a channel welded on top for the soft top attachment. You won't see that channel on the FRP versions because it would interfere with the fitment. I realized this when I ordered a fiberglass one several years ago from @joekatana who used to bring them in and had to abort using the fiberglass one for that reason.
