Hey Y’all,
did some searching and couldn’t find anything on this issue for the GX. Saw a few threads for the 60 and 80 series though.
I park outside and only have on street parking near my place. All of which is under trees. They’re beautiful and make the neighborhood here in Midtown look great, but they’re a nightmare for debris.
currently I pull the cowl once a month and clean, but that’s a pain in the ass. After dropping a boatload of coin to replace a leaky evaporator core a year ago, I want to keep that hvac system in good shape.
if I were to get some sort of screen material from Home Depot, could I line the back of the windshield cowling without any ill effects?
not sure if that would mess with airflow through the cowl.
just trying to avoid having to constantly clean that thing. Any time it storms, there’s a mess of debris under the cowl.
my thoughts are:

my thoughts are:
- Line the back of the cowl with some sort of screen material
- If option 1 seems like a consensus bad idea, then I could wrangle up some sort of cover to place over the cowl when the car is parked
