Winch Install Question: Badlands 12k Apex with stock bumper

Really big fan of this winch, but it's a space hog and I'm trying to retain the stock bumper and place the winch front frame rails. I've got it mounted but the solenoid box is a beast and won't fit without doing some major fab work.

I'm looking for pictures, threads, ideas, etc on places people have mounted their solenoid boxes.
