Cool. I have a FJ60 but as of now the oil pump went bad and its siezed up from what I can tell. Do you know of a good wrench in town or someone you trust that works on these trucks. I've been looking for a 46mm socket/bar to get on the crankshaft but no luck yet. Going to work on it some more in the morning and see if I have any luck. Any help would be great money is an issue and its my daily truck.
 
Cool glad there are some people here in ILM. Do you guys do all the work on your trucks? or do you know some one?
 
Im here but cant fix anything.

Theres a good Toyota guy off Castle Hayne rd. in between N Kerr and 23rd Street. I forget the name of the shop, from 23rd take a right on Castle Hayne and the shop is on left. Theres always some Lexus' and Toyotas out front, newer building.

I do all my own stuff but I can barely find time to fix my own stuff!!
 
Most people in the club do work on their own stuff, and for times that a member needs help a HAMOM is formed.

There are two club members that also have their own shops for that kind of stuff.
One is in SC though and the other near Bragg

Once the Hurricane passes lets try to plan something. My 40 is not running but Im willing to meet in the wilmington area for a beer or two. You all should come to Uwharie in Sept, it will be a great time.
 
All of you from the wilmington area should come to "logans run" n sept. Once im done cleaning up from irene I will put something together for us to meet up. Probally after logans run. Hope u are safe from storm.

I am in wilmington every now and then. Sometimes I drive the 100, but at 10mpg it's cheaper flying.

My DD in wilmington is a Amry green 84' Defender 90 with more mods than I can possibly think of. Nothing like bringing a LR to a Toyota meet :hillbilly:

If you can not find anyone close i am at Bragg NC and have been known to work on a fj60 or 2.

But defenders are sooooo nice, almost tempted to talk you into taking it to URE next month :grinpimp:
