My Warn XD9000i (about a 2002 model) has gotten where it will only let out line reliably. It clicks and occasionally takes in line, but I figure one or more solenoids are bad. It was recommended to me to upgrade my solenoids.

Will this one work in my winch?

I don't know all the right questions to ask, but

1. Will it physically fit and mount reasonably well?
2. Can it handle the amperage and any other electrical issues?
3. Will it work with my existing Warn hand-held switch?

Feel free to add questions and answers.

I don't know about mounting but the price has me a little bit worried. I get not everyone has a lot to spend but the super winch ones are only $120 from summit and people are running those and Albright's on their 8274's. Has anyone even heard of these contacts?

it looks like a chinese winch solenoid i have some winches with those on them beacuse the winches were cheap and used .i always keep a spare in the truck or a least jumper cables so i can use the winch when the solenoid quits .i would fix the winch as if your life depended on it .

Could y'all recommend a good replacement solenoid, then? Which ones from Summit or Albright would be the right ones, and where do you recommend I buy an Albright?

Same questions from my ignorance as above apply.
