There are a set of front seats from a late 80's-early 90's toyota celica for sale that I was thinking about picking up for my 88 62. Has anyone here had experience replacing there stock seats with these? If so is there much mod work that needs to be done? Can I use the existing brackets? I dont have a welder so if there is much fab work to be done im not sure it would be worth it.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
Most seats can be modded in with bolts and steel rectangular pieces which can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes. I used a drill, vice, and angle grinder for the mod work to fit the chairs to my rails. I installed an unknown newer Toyota chair and a 2001 Land Rover Chair.

Thanks Randy,
The price seems to be right so I think I might get them.

I didn't notice that you are in Ventura. You have the Gold Coast Cruisers Club in your area.

If you need help welding or modding the chairs to fit don't worry. Just pm me and drive down to Valencia and we can get them in.
