I've decided that the most likely culpret for the issue I'm seeing

is the Heat / AC control itself. I've found a couple reasonably priced units for the LX at junkyards, but, I found an even more reasonable land cruiser unit. I really don't care to keep the climate control feature on the control. I have a feeling that complication may be part of what's causing the issue. So I can save myself $25 and get the LC unit, if it will plug in. I"m guessing it will since the face on both units is the same, except the LC unit has a blank where the "Auto" button is.
Does anyone know if this will just drop in and plug in?
