g'day gang, just wonderin whether 2008 model hilux wheels will fit me old 85 model BJ73?

The reason is I need to get a new set of tyres and these come with the wheels, which are a bit nicer than what I currently have

cheers and thanks

I think they will fit but Im not sure about the offset. The older solid axle Hilux had a 10mm different offset to the landcruiser ,so when you put them on your track became 20mm narrower.
It would limit the turning circle.
You can put a straight edge across the inside of the rim and measure down to the bolt holes to check.

Cheers Rosco, thort that maybe the case, they're on ebay so a bit hard to try before buy, so will give it a miss.

Haven't forgotten about Wilbinga, just been so damn busy at work lately, hopin we could take a blast later in the month if that suits you, if not I'm open to other dates when convenient

Cheers

Try the quokka for some bargains. Wilbinga when your are ready

They will bolt up, but spacing may be an issue.

In these parts "Landy" refers to a Land Rover and not a Land Cruiser. By the title of your post, I was kind of wondering....

The IFS hilux wheels are about 20mm offset inwards and interfere with the steering rod ends IIRC
