Will a Frontrunner roof rack for a 78 Series Troopy fit a 75 Series Troopy?

Hopefully a pretty simple question, which boils down to are the roofs the same dimensions. I'd like to hope yes, although I know the 79 series trucks are wider, so probably not?

If not, any recommendations on full length racks for a 75 Series Troopy?

I was under the impression, perhaps incorrectly, that they were the same from the “A” pillar back. I’m also under the impression that they were 79 Series is only wider forward of the windshield. Maybe the smart guys will chime in.

I know when I was looking at replacement vinyl flooring, the 79 series stuff supposedly fit "but had to be trimmed", so I took this to mean the cab was wider. Wound up finding an original 75 series mat for the truck, so never had to check that theory.

The 79 Series cab is longer by several inches (more legroom). 😊

I have an Ironman rack on my 75 and I like it a lot. Heavily built, solid as a rock. It's not truly full length, it goes to the break in the roof line. Still pretty long. I know they make some full length racks of different styles, not sure about fitting on a troop carrier.

I would buy an Ironman rack if this one hadn't come on the truck already. I don't like their garish lime green livery but the stuff is a good value. For one thing it's actually welded together out of tubing, not that modular screw-assemble stuff that is the vogue now.

The 78 series roof racks (frontrunner and others) will fit a 75 series- same roof size.

Rhino Rack makes a nice "flat pack" rack, with multiple lengths and widths. It is a modular screw together style and is easily modified, also has lots of available accessory junk. You can use this Australian site to figure out what you need/want :

and order all the components from etrailer.com with free shipping
some more fiddly bits needed for mounting the legs to the flat rack, search the site

As mentioned by @Tennessee Jed the ironman also looks like a good value roof rack, just spray over the lime green signage
