Just installed a set of 285/70x17s and want to know what pressure are you running on the highway? Thxs!

And of course, inflated on the high side will give a little better MPG but bouncier ride.
The inverse, a little on the low side, a slightly softer ride, but poorer MPG.
Note: this is all staying within the prescribed manufacturer's pressure range.
Unless off-roading and at lower speeds, never go lower.
I usually pump mine towards the upper limit for road trips.

I would imagine your load rating would make a big difference in what psi you run. That size comes in C or E according to falkens website. I have 265/70/18 e rated and have been testing within the 40-45 range for freeway driving.

Few guys over at GXOR are saying 40, I will do the chalk test and go from there.

I have the same size in Load Range E in a Nitto Ridge Grappler and I usually run 40 psi for all around performance. I can still touch 18 mpg on the highway with that pressure but it's slightly rougher around town and on square edge hits. I prefer to run them at 34 psi for a better ride but I get worse fuel economy and they aren't a sharp in the handling department either.
