Well, my wife does not like riding in my HJ60. She's been after me to get something "newer".

Now, I like the 60, it's the best riding Cruiser I have. It's got a diesel, A/C and power steering and it's quieter than the 55's or the 40 without the top.

She suggested I get a FJC. They are nice but do I really need a FJC?

To keep the peace, I said I would consider it. I liked the Trail Teams version, all white and set up decently. Maybe keep my eye open for a used one. Been working this "consider" for a while with only an occasional grumble from my wife.

The Cruiser Gods reward patience (or my wife the 40's owner). A used 2007 FJC with a 3" lift, front ARB bumper and rear Warn bumper fell into my lap.

Guess I'll have to update my signature and picture

Man, I want a wallet like yours!

Nice score Joe. I hope she keeps argueing about the stuff that she wants on it

nice score:cheers: its amazing how woman always get what they want

It was an easy lost "argument" :)

I really wanted a 6 speed but I wasn't going to turn it down because it had the auto. The auto is rated at better mileage than the 6 speed. Go figure.

I'll use the diesel for the long trips to upstate NY to visit my father. This way I will not put the mileage on the FJC or expose it to the copious amounts of salt they use on the roads.

The 55 is still my choice for wheeling but the FJC may see some.

Still not sure what to do with the 60. I was hoping to fix the usual rust, add some sliders etc. I was thinking of a SOA for the green 55 and the thought of adding the 2H and 5 speed is floating around.

It is a very nice riding truck. Quiet, smooth and plenty of power, something I'm not used to.

Nice ride Joe! I think I'd argue against driving the 60 up to NY in the snow. There are only so many HJ60's to go around here in the states. Hate to see another rust to pieces. The FJC OTOH has the latest in rust protection built in and would handle the road salt way better IMHO. Sell the HJ to me... :grinpimp: I'll move it to sunny southern IN to keep it outa the nasty Northeast saltmonster's grip.

That's a sweet score Joe. I'd milk that for all it's worth. "You were right Honey, I definately needed a newer vehicle. I shouldn't question your judgement." :grinpimp:
