thanks so much guys

am searched in wreck yard today and i found one AISIN but its not fit with my car :( i will search tomorrow again in other place

if this came with driveplates, you will need to swap your birfields to make the toyota hubs fits. The birfields that come with driveplates to not allow or fit freewheel hubs. Yes, totally crazy and dumb. teh spline count is different than the birfields that come with freewheel hubs.
Look on ebay in australia (try: ROODOGS 4WD SPARES items - Get great deals on TOYOTA ALL MODELS, OTHER 4WD PARTS items on eBay Stores!).
Or, are there dismantler or "wrecking yards" in your town/country?

I have the same truck. It's a royal pain in the a** to put manual hubs on it. More so than any other cruiser.

i think that is what happend with me 2day , i bought a new OEM toyota auto free wheel hub part no 43530-69065 but it did not fit !! the pin in FLANGE is too short and the birfields does not inserted in the hub ! what should i do please help

GOOD , so i will search again in wreck yard for birfield maybe i will find one fit the hub ,,, but how to avoid choose a weak or damaged birfield ? there is a point to choose a good condition one
thanks so much brother

unless the axle looks damaged, and if the truck has manual hubs, you can priobably assume that the birfields didn't see much use at all.
I'm 90% sure that the HZJ78, HZJ79, and HZJ105 (solid axle 100 series) share the same birfield.

when you engage 4wd your front prop shaft and half shafts are connected to the transfer box - you will only drive your front wheels as well if your hubs are locked!

There are two basic hub designs. Manual and automatic. Manual is the type where you have to get out of your car and turn the hub centre from free to lock to engage the hub, and you need to engage both of them to make your vehicle 4x4 ready, and you can refer to this state as a life axle condition. Once you have shifted your 4x4 transfer lever from the 2H (two wheel drive High) to 4H or 4L four wheel drive High gear and Low gear) you will have full four wheel drive capability. Now the Automatic hubs work the same except that they look different and that you do not need to engage it manually at the hubs. You only have to do the shifting on the lever and the rotational force of the front propellor shaft through the side shafts will engage it automatically. You can lock them to a permanent state by using the wheel spanner and turning the nut in the centre of the hub to the lock position. Now you will have a "permanent" live axle. Remember that if you shift the lever to 2H you will only have 2wheel drive since you disengaged the 4x4 gearbox output to the front axle.
What happens in short, when you engage the hub is that you shift a coupler in the hub over the sideshaft splines on each side of the front axle. Now your wheel-hub-axle forms one connected unit. Hope it helps explaining to those that does not know.
I have the automatic hubs and has seen some failed on other 79 cruisers. The reason for this is that once engaged and driven there is a simple sequence to disengage. (1)Stop the vehicle, (2)shift the lever from 4H to 2H, (3)reverse slowly and turn the steering from left to right about quarter turns. (4)Listen for a CLICK sound from each front wheel, thus "click-click" and only now, you are back in full 2wheel drive. Not doing this results in damage. WARNING. Never shift from 2H to 4H while the vehicle is moving (this accounts for auto and manual hubs unless you are dead sure you have your hubs permanently locked), or expect metal to fly like a grenade explosion.

I'm not sure if you resolved your hub problems, but I would suggest you read:IH8MUD Forum > Toyota Tech Forums > 70-Series Tech > Custom HZJ79 from parts, built in the US!

There is some good info on this issue at around page 18. Do the effort and start off a couple of pages ahead of that just to familiarize yourself. 79 Cruiser pick-ups in Angola comes the same way as yours and im sure there is a easy solution to your problem without having to change the birfield. Try to PM "YOOPER" or "BENO"

Thanks for the explanation i now better about the little trick u have given much appreciated . Can you Also give me advise on how you use Arb diff lockers and when you use them and what speeds are you aloud to take them too when driving? Haven't got them installed yet but i am thinking sometime soon .
Thanks for the info much appreciated
