Would like to get a 1977 FJ40 that could be used in a patina restoration. Ideally an unmolested and as stock as possible.

When you say "patina restoration" I assume you intend to leave the body "as is"? How much "patina" do you want? What's the budget for the truck you are looking for?

Thanks. I have inquired on this one. Rust has taken too much of it. Couple things, must be a 77 and rust sign is ok but not large holes or missing areas.

Thanks Overton. First, must be a 77. Yes, want to leave body as is but without large gaping holes. Also, original paint. Budget? Show me something. I know this may be a hard find.

About 15 years ago I bought a beautiful well taken care of FJ40 out West. Well, turned out to be my favorite. A few short years later A friend had to have that truck. After he had it for awhile he took this beautiful unmolested...............and restomoded it. Never to be appreciated again. Another one lost. Just want to make up for my mistake. There is only so many survivors left.
