Like the title says, why? So I assume the first answer is will be "aftermarket options are stronger". That may be true with regard to the hardware itself but at the end of the day, its still bolted to the same chasse using the same bolts. So if the OEM recovery "loop" actually is weaker than the shear strength of the mounting bolts, maybe that makes some sense.
