Why my springs are different??

My eyes could be decieving me, but it looks like on the rear, one of the military wraps is on the shackle and the other not - although it sounds like you say that there re military wraps on both of the rear fixed pins - if thats the case then that is very weird.

Also the on the front the 2nd leaves (with the military wrap) look different to each other on the shackle end. Also weird.

Just replaced all the front spring bushings, death wobble @ 35 MPH is gone!!. While working on the front bushings I noticed that the front springs had the military wrap to the back of the spring, is that where is supposed to be? Now, since I bought the truck with the aftermarket springs and don't know what brand are those, I still have no idea why one spring in the back is totally different from the other! All I know is they are from Man-A Fre. I think I'll write them and ask them about the springs.

If I flip it, still I get a military wrap at the shackle end. I'm just curious, but the truck is running fine as it is now. It has the springs like this since I bought it almost two years ago.

x2 - only one rear spring pack is installed backwards. As someone else said - double wrap (military wrap) goes on the fixed end, not the shackle end.

If it's got two military wraps you are fine. That spring probably broke at one point and was replaced. Double check to make sure that the distance from fixed end to axle mounting location (the spring center pin) is the same on the left and right sides. If it was off, that'd cause some serious driving problems.

This is exactly what I'm doing about the springs: nothing. I believe the springs are working fine, and with the potholes we have all over, is like driving off road all the time, that's my daily test. I was just curious about the difference on them.
