Why is MUD glacial in the morning?

I try to hit MUD before swim practice; ie ~5:15 MDT.

Frquently, it won't load, or takes a long time to load...

we've been looking into that for months...interestingly, it's mostly a Tues morning thing too

wish I knew, but I'll remind Ryan to check into it more...

That IS a time of day when many forum/server backend functions take place, since a "relatively high" user percentage is asleep...but it should still always load....
