Why are new LX and LC same body type? (1 Viewer)

Ok, I should have not made a new thread...but I read a year ago that Lexus model and Toyota models would be totally different from each other.....So Why is the new LX 570 the EXACT body style as the new 200 series LC?? (other than the front grills....it's the same platform and body...what am I missing here?

Somebody was mistaken last year, and the LC/LX share the same relationship as they always have?

Last year that was exactly what the car magazines were saying. Then the reality of building your own IRS platform probably set in.
