Who makes a roof mounted light bar mount?

Looking for something trick, preferably billet aluminum that uses the roof rack bolts and perhaps loops around the front of the sun roof to mount a light bar onto above the windshield. For those of us who don't want/need a roof rack or to use the stock rack as its too far back. Thanks!!
 
Talk to 2000UZJ about a solution, he owns a company called Expedition Lighting Systems which specializes in LED lighting. He could probably come up with some sort of mounting solution for you, as well as a bar to pair the mount with :) good luck!

I too am planning on running a light bar without a rack, but I will probably run it off my front bumper instead of the roof.
 
Thanks I will do! Yes I also want to run a light bar on the bumper I just really want a full length one across the roof as well. Much appreciated!!

Just was visiting a family member in the hospital recently and bumped the height warning guides before entering a parking garage. Had to back up and security guided me to park in an oversize vehicle section. Still barely cleared the ceiling.

That is what I did but I mounted it on the front.

Has this gone anywhere? Why can't there be mounts like you see for the tundras, f150s and silverados for us 100series guys?
 
^^Agree. And all the JK iterations as well too. Given the sales numbers of the LC (100 series) later in its life cycle though, maybe its not so surprising.

Didn't @benc do one recently? Couldn't someone do a mount for the forward roof rack feet?

Here's an image of a 50" bar on @benc 's build thread over on Expo. I believe it's custom mounted (through the roof).

Maybe a group buy could be arranged and @benc could make them......
 
i spoke with benc and he said there is a lot of wind noise. like very unbearable. but he did make that one looks great.
