Is there a list somewhere? Poser says he's coming. I'd just like to know who I'm going to meet that I have not met.

I spoke with Chris and Erik last night and we have 25 rigs registered. I'm stoked that Poser is making the trip!

Kowboy and Fro from the White Trash are making the trip. Tarbe from Houston is signed up. We got a few folks from Missouri that we ain't even met yet registered plus Ron & Shiela (our hosts). MoJ is registered. I've haven't seen or wheeled with Jason for several years now. I wanna see your rig too Ed! I've been saving my pennies for an Orion but have yet to see one in action.

I just hope I get my 40 done in time now :hillbilly:

i ain't signed up....but i live about 45 minutes from the site so i might drive down and meet everyone and leave.

Is the raffle going to be Fri. night? What time is the meal ? We had planned on driving down after school Fri. Might have to leave earlier. Thanks Kirk

I need to quit being a lurker so my peeps don't forget me! Looking at the at picture of you in June reminded me all month of how much fun it was to wheel with you (and my Orion) at Tuttle.

I can't get out of Houston until 1600 Wednesday. Hope to be there early afternoon Thursday.

i ain't signed up yet but by god i will be signing up soon and buying all the raffle tickets!

Man I hate to ask this but........Can I assume there are some, uh, like, uh.....powder puff trails for an unschooled driver? You know a green run, possibly named "School Marm?"
See why I hated to ask.:o

it's ok ed...just follow jake!...notice i said follow jake...sometimes his brakes don't work real well...unless of coarse i can get this axel rebuilt and installed before the event...it will be close...you could always ride with rob...that will get your heart beating!

I've hitched a ride with Rob and I got to ride bitch with Poser:eek: The thing is, I have to drive my junk there and would prefer to drive it home. I just don't want to be stupid and break something. Kinda like eating on the good china;)
I think Poser is bringing his flatbed, so I know I'll have a ride home in any case.
Are you bringing the 55? Is Rob coming?

Ed

i think at this point we are only bringing the 40...and it may be a short trip...home comming for our high school is that friday night and rumor has it that jake may be the freshman attendant....see what owning a cruiser does for a young man...i know robs mom and step dad are comming but i am not sure about rob...i hope he can make it...i am really looking forward to meeting poser in person...he has been a big help on some of my cruiser problems...don't worry if you break it someone will get you home!

There are trails for everyone there, just don't think they named one "school marm" though. Rob is signed up to be there. And Ed - I drove my 40 up to Tuttle last weekend, beat the crap out of it on the ledges, and drove it back home. Just a little mud in the back seat is about the only "damage" that was done. Bring it and wheel it.

OK, I'm in. When is everyone arriving....Thursday or Friday? If Poser gets to leave Wed, he may spend the night at our house then we will leave Thurs AM.
I'll go back to the garage and get busy.....;)

Anyone have a "bumper dumper"?

OK....I'll bite. What IS a "bumper dumper?" Hope it is not one of those black flex hoses that hides in the rear bumper of a Winnebago.........:D

Ed

I may have one....I have a lotta s***;)

Ed, first off REGISTER and yet you and your rig to Salem.... We won't et anything happen to it! I spoke with Ron and Sheila a couple weeks ago and they have opened 2 new easy trails and a couple easier moderate trails. Your rig will be fine! If ya follow Jake, be on whatever side of the hill that he doesn't need brakes :hillbilly: Lastly the bumper dumper is a Razorback tradition for the driver's raffle that consists of a toilet seat mounted to a 2" receiver hitch..........need I go further?

I'm signed up. Planning on bringing the '80. pretty much stock--riding on 285 mtr's and locked. I'm planning on having my wife drive so I can spot so we will be on the "powder puff's" also. This is her 1st time so I don't want to scare her off. We should get there thursday evening or friday am.

chris, I saw you at the prebid this week, sorry we didn't get to chit chat....

Matt - Looking forward to seeing you there. Sorry I didn't say "Hi" - looked like Jerry was bending your ear.

Interesting project...

I worked with jerry on the tuttle creek bridge all summer last year--hadn't seen him since, filled me in on all wamego gossip. ;)

Yeah I'm glad to see that project off my desk. Let me know if I can give you a hand.
