I'm getting my lower control arms replaced (genuine). Looks like I should probably get the camber bolts done too and want to ask the group if you think Whiteline would be ok or if I should stick with genuine?

Apparently the Whiteline have better adjustability for camber but I'm not sure how much it affects things. Durability is the most important thing to me.

Have the stock ones not been reliable enough?

Other than corrosion most people don’t seem to have problems with them as long as they are torqued correctly.

They siezed up from corrosion so need to be replaced. 18 years old so fair enough. Figure I’d do it all at the same time with the lower control arms. I decided to order the genuine ones.

Yeah, good call

My truck was as clean as it gets and not a spec of rust anywhere.

However, my bolts (just those 4) were all corroded to all hell like they been at bottom of the ocean. It’s a known weird issue

Will be hitting everything up with surface shield or lanotech next so should be good forever.

Well I got the machine back with whiteline uppers, new genuine lowers and camber bolts, and a fulcrum suspension adjustable panhard rod (the old one was busted yet again in no time flat).

Considering the foam cell pro Ironman 4T GVM upgrade I did 18 months ago, that about means I've repleaced every suspension component in the car since I bought it and it drives so well now.

With this recent service and upgrade, I wasn't expecting to feel a difference, but wow I never knew how good it could feel, it's like I have a new car. It must have been the play in the bushings from all those other components, because now I don't feel any oscillation when cornering and braking. The body rolls still because of the lift, but it doesn't oscilate, its so steady, and then levels out. Just stoked to get this sorted. Now onto rust proofing next...
