white stuff ???

So, we went for a drive up the copper canyon main yesterday, that's right over the road from my house, I was basically playing chauffeur to photographers and dogs...

plan was to just explore a bit, maybe find this lake that was near by,but didn't quite make it to the lake, we weren't really expecting to be trying to make it up a slippery ass snow covered icy hill, so we said bugger it and went back down. snow show is maybe a half hour from my house....


so, we have Fiddich showing his Duncan roots , some general scenery of the drive(kinda nice up there), and the obligatory poseur shot....



weren't really looking for wheeling trails, but I imagine there's lots of them...you can pretty much drive up to qualicum from there, all on back roads.

Nice! So you think there might be some fun trails in there?

Yeah I'm sure there's lots , once you know where they are, there's miles upon miles of roads out there.
couple friends of mine up this way seem to know a few so I may go exploring with them one of these days to find them


there's a gate on the way in, where the dude writes down your license #, and I'm not quite sure what the deal is if you aren't out by 7 when it's closed. someone said they'd send S&R after you which seems kinda silly but I'll look into it.

I thought the gate was gone? Was it right at the start of the gravel or farther in?

right at the start.
