Dang, busy that weekend. Free first weekend of October is we are interested in a date change...

All systems nominal; we're go for launch. Probably.

Meet at the Whipsaw FSR entrance on Friday 27th morning 10:30am is the most likely. Camping is free on near hwy 3 and right there if you want to head out Thursday and have a relaxed morning Friday. Wells lake Friday night, Loadstone Saturday, Sunday heading home.
I will be on 146.460Mhz

Copper creek would be the Thursday night camp spot, past the main area an sorta back towards the hwy is a nice spot

Patti may not be able to get Friday off. That'd put us a full day behind. Not a practical trip with all 5 dogs, a full trailer and no winch as a backup trying to get caught up. Hmm.

Damn, Remember when I caught up...... You caaan do it...

Unfortunately Friday morning start won't work for me, other commitments. I'd have to push it back a day to Saturday start. May have to change weekend location plans.

So to be having coffee Fri morning close, where are people camping? Or are some driving up
Friday morning thru Hope? I'm arriving over there Thursday dinner, so will stop in somewhere along
the highway.

Here's a map of Hwy 3 showing the whipsaw trailhead. The red callout at the bottom is Copper Creek Rec Site, it's $7.50/nite if the ranger comes around. Alternatively we can camp for free at the red pins on Whipsaw creek, the first one is 15km in, is on the creek and has a fire pit and can handle a good dozen trucks. The next one just up the road is smaller and can handle about 4 trucks.

Garry suggested for the "early" crew, we stay at Copper Creek Rec Site Thu night, Fri morning 10:30am at the Whipsaw entrance. If Copper Crk is full we can always move on to the spot 15km in (this is roughly 15km from the entrance, not exact using logging road markers, it'll be on the left).

If you're coming from the south, last fuel-up is Eastgate, north of course is Princeton.
