Which Winch?

Warn or no Warn has been discussed to pieces before.
Way I look at it: pay more new, get very very good customer support, and resale value very high with a Warn. Buy a used one, you'll likely come out even when you sell. Other brands: not obvious.
 
I think brand is a major factor. The Superwinch I had had a horrible duty cycle and overheated very quickly. The Warn I put on later would pull all day. I trust Warn, but it probably comes down to a Ford/Chev kinda thing.

Say it ain't so...my Superwinch has tugged me out without fail many'o times...and it did it quickl. I was told that Warn and Superwinch have the proper guts (i.e. all metal innerds) to get the job done. Both are made in the USA with pride...
